Hugh was born April 9, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois the oldest son of conservative Christian parents who traced their roots to the Puritans of the Mayflower.
Hef created the first issue of Playboy in 1953 on his apartment’s kitchen table and published it for under $10,000. He spent $500 to buy the rights for the first centerfold--Marilyn Monroe, photographed before she was famous. The nude beauty helped make the magazine an instant sensation. Over 50,000 copies sold.
Today Hef is the beneficiary of his huge Playboy Empire. It wasn’t always money for nothing and chicks for free. Hef had to earn his success. Just stop and think what kind of an up hill battle he must have fought. In 1953 when he started Playboy the country had Ike for President and men weren’t getting laid much. Skirt hems were long and I am sure it took big balls to start Playboy.
Today 50 plus years later Hef is living and enjoying the good life that no other man on earth enjoys.
Now a days you have to hand credit to his daughter Christie Hefner. She runs the show while Hef runs around the Playboy Mansion in his trademark pajamas. From the last report Hef dates 6 women all at the same time. This author says the gentleman connoisseur
shouldn’t have it any other way.
Hef is a nice guy. All rumors point to what appears to be factual that he has had over 1000 girlfriends and not one ugly girl in the sack.
Even Hef has made what the author calls the marriage mistake, first in 1949 and secondly in 1989. The good news is he picked up Christie his daughter and a couple of sons. Thank God he is free to enjoy the good life now!
Outside of the children benefit who needs a wife any way when you know how to bed Playmates like Hef does.
If I could give Hef any birthday present in the world I would give him more life. More time. My sincere wish is that he gets to keep the Playboy life for years and years to come. That is my birthday wish for Hugh Hefner. Sorry Hef no new pajamas from the King, Elvis Preston King. No I didn’t forget your birthday Hef!
